"Evolution of The Well of Light"
"We must always change, renew, rejuvenate ourselves;
otherwise we harden."
- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Dear Friends,
Today is a critical point in our history.
Change is accelerating at levels never before experienced. The speed of social, technological, and biological advancement has become a dazzling blur of memories, adaptations and confrontations. This allows us an unprecedented opportunity to reinvent ourselves and our relationship to all life. This is a moment to seize.
For ten years The Well of Light has been changing.
We began this journey as an inquiry into the maps of consciousness based in moving meditation and ecstatic dance, primarily the work of Gabrielle Roth and the 5 Rhythms. Our affiliation with Bioneers and the Pachamama Alliance expanded the dialogue and led to the creation of Conversations, a radio talk show that brings you leading edge thinkers in the areas of Environmental Restoration, Social Justice and Spiritual fulfillment.

Fear and Intuition
We can let the circumstances of our lives harden
us so that we become increasingly resentful and afraid,
or we can let them soften us and make us kinder and
more open to what scares us.
- Pema Chodron
There is a natural tendency to resist change. We want familiarity, permanence, security and to hold on to that which brings us pleasure. We tend to push away anything that scares us or could bring disorientation, insecurity or pain. When we cling to fixed ideas of who and what we are it cripples us and brings about unnecessary suffering. But, in these times of chaotic uncertainty, we have an opportunity to soften and use our fear as a map to new realms of being in the world that cultivate compassion and loving kindness, leading us to new, more life-affirming ways of being in the world... more...
Ultimately we know deeply that the other side of every fear is a freedom.
- Marilyn Ferguson
That which really lights us up connects with a need in the world.

"Breath Connects Us All"
- Professor Trance
To breathe is to live! The quality of our lives is synchronous with the quality of our breath… To improve the quality of our lives we learn to breathe more fully and deeply. People in our culture often have shallow, held back and irregular breathing patterns. As fear and uncertainty increase in our society and the world, you can feel the collective breath holding. When we hold our breath it is difficult to feel grounded, we become light headed, panicky and confused in our direction and focus.
"Breath is the bridge which connects life to consciousness, which unites your body to your thoughts."
- Thich Nhat Hanh
